Weāve found a small bug which will be fixed shortly.
This might have been already mentionedā¦
- auto invest on 1st (Saturday) 140 ⬠and got notification that it failed - same minute as the notification about the auto-deposit (didnāt have the investing bar at 0 % under pie, as I would have expected)
pie name - Investing failed.
-
today checked again and noticed it still hadnāt invested anything and wasnāt trying to invest anything (didnāt have the autoinvested amount as free funds or as blocked for pending orders)
-
clicked the invest manually and as I had almost no funds, but just 0,08 ⬠free (+140 ⬠auto-deposited) it didnāt let me invest manually
-
fixed this by depositing a bit more and then I managed to do the manual invest to pie and managed to āreleaseā the 140 ⬠(it added it automatically to the manual investment)
You can also withdraw the funds from the pie to your account wallet, then deposit. Not ideal, but it works. Iām assuming it failed because it tried to invest on a Saturday
That would be awesome! I cant wait to move shares between pies
1 piece of feedback on tracking dividends @George - in the overview section where it shows how much dividends weāve earned, it might be helpful if it also shows an indicator of how much of the earned dividends have been withdrawn out of the pie.
not sure how many people are in the same boat as me but the reason i suggest this is because not all my pies have dividend reinvestment switched on. so for some of them i need to withdraw the received dividends and it is becoming really hard to keep track of them, especially in dividend payment season.
@H2T2 Thatās a great suggestion. We will consider adding an indicator showing the dividend amount withdrawn from the pie.
I mentioned it before on a different thread but auto-balacing would be great. Say I have a pie with 10 stocks at 10% a piece. If I later add an 11th stock, it would be great to click a button and have them equally split, i.e. 100%/11.
With a single float point, itās mathematically impossible, what can be done is a very close rounding and the āalgorithmā has to decide somehow to increase 0,1 in a stock or decrease on another.
or let the total weight of the automatic rebalance be something like 99,8% or 100,3% and you do it by yourself after this initial distribution.
I think either of those are preferable to 1@1% and 10@10%
The system could hold the allocations to a greater degree of accuracy than displayed. But obviously still an issue with recurring numbers
Agree⦠but showing 9,9 for 9,91 and 9,99 and 9,95 can be very misleading
Thatās fine. I wonāt get mad over a rounding of 0.001%
Actually a quick help question. If I have dividend reinvestment off, does the dividend received for any slice of the pie go into its free cash or does it go straight outside the pie?
If the 2nd option doesnāt happen currently, I think it should, following on from my previous suggestion. As that would be the intent of someone like me turning it off.
As you hoped, the dividend goes outside the pie into your free cash.
When shares are imported, will the average price be moved with it? Or will it start from zero profit?
dang it, iāve been withdrawing from those pies for nothing?!?!
If you have Divi re-invest off then there shouldnāt be a need to withdraw from pie, as it wonāt be in your pie
The average price wonāt be affected.
@George is there any workaround possible to move a slice from pie A to pie B? (without sell/rebuy)
Itās fine if itās not possible, I can wait to the new features coming this month
Currently there isnāt a workaround. When we launch the import / export option youāll be able to move slices across pies easily.
