Eurasia mining confusion

Lol I got it correct and everyone seems shocked no replies nothing no? Ha :rocket: see use on cnbc :joy::joy:

How can you ever be wrong? That is impossible.
Same as your picks? They always go up, never down.

I’m trying to work through what you’re saying here, but this is correct. Your friend Buffett is currently getting an insane yield on Coke (about 48% I think) because he bought it when it was cheap. Obviously, that depends on two things:

(1) Airtel Africa (in your example) growing its div.
(2) Your estimation of its growth being accurate.

Haha one thing you should know about me I’ve got the best sense of humour so anything that’s like that comment it’s banter and this is why I say Warren buffet isn’t as good as an investor as the investors nowadays, he has hardly any choices and all so cheap haha ! We got millions of stocks and millions of factors, but yeah I thought it was. That’s why I like cheap stocks :joy::man_shrugging:t5:

And yeah then 2 factors have to play out, j seen them growing but it’s if they can grow enough to increase dividend as I think it’s a subsidiary to MTN group, could be worth having both

:joy::joy::joy::joy: I swear @vedran I love your responses I think I’ve found another me (not another buffet tho haha joke )

There’s some truth in this. Different investors have different competences and the environment sometimes doesn’t suit a particular investor’s particular skill set. Buffett is second to none on banks (as well as having various other competencies) but has less insight into cloud-based computing (for example) than a number of other people. So there will be others making bigger returns at the moment.

But I would contest the idea that the fact that Buffett is in an environment that isn’t ideally suited to his skill set changes any of the intrinsic facts about him that make him an excellent investor. In much the same way that the fact that a Ferrari won’t go very fast underwater doesn’t make it a bad car.

Yeah I’m onto banks as well just follow the money haha! Bank of America, Montreal itua unibanco banco first Hawaiian but got any positions in that one yet… and yeah cloud computing is one tech another there adaptors not innovators that’s why people look for them innovating stocks, and yeah that’s true I get that I just feel he had a handful of stocks and basically just went with them, nowadays you got the likes of amazon Facebook google just buying all the good investment prospects making them basically the only stocks that actually hold value whatever the weather. Start buffet now on investing bet he has a hard time haha !

I suspect you might like Bank OZK (ticker symbol OZK)

I’ll have a look into it!! You banking on it ? :joy:

Hq: Little Rock, is it black rocks little bro :joy: but I’ll do some research on it loving the eps on this one, pretty low p/e as well do you know what there balance sheet is like??? Must be decent with eps like that, seems like a smaller bank as well so that’s a positive, but that’s just a quick glance

Yeah they just increased dividend as well in a time like this there under the radar which I love

Can someone look at the chart of eurasia and tell me when in feb was it at 705p ? Or is this bs ??? I’m getting baffled with this stock even more LOL

It’s a charting error - it closed at 7.05p

Right thanks, I was thinking no way did I miss this I’d of Defos sold lol! & another question howcome it’s in euros on trading 212? Are they on more than one stock exchange ? In pound on freetrade probably fna take my profit on this one tho got it at 4p haha

It’s not the right stock looks like they’ve linked it to EUH and not EUA
