Having to create an extra order after an order has filled is unnecessary work.
Also, for orders that have not filled yet, it is not currently possible to limit risk by adding a stop loss.
For an example of how well this can be implemented see ByBit, which has stop loss and take profit levels set at the time of order (either market or limit), as well as conditional orders.
I realise some of this functionality used to be part of the platform, and was removed (apparently so as not to confuse people new to investing). That doesn’t make much sense, since it was hidden in ‘advanced’ menu.
This kind of feature is what would make me consider not using trading212 over alternatives.
Is there any roadmap for bringing back these essential tools?
