SEPA is not a good deal. Okay, itās free, but once I sent EUR to my USD T212 account, the exchange rate was terrible. No information on the rate, only the dollar amount. 1.22 market EUR/USD, received at 1.20, which is even worse than 0.7% card deposit fee.
That being said, having USD set up in T212 and living in EU is no longer free on deposits.
And there are fees on SWIFT also (SHA). I donāt know what are the conditions for Trading corporate account or if they pay it for us (?), I was only able find the fee for Personal Barclays account, which is 7 - 13 pounds for incoming transfer, depends on currency.
If you are using your card then no that does not sound like the instant bank transfer option people have been talking about. The instant bank transfer option that uses open banking does not require any card details, it is a connection straight to your bank account.
I did some practice with autoinvest in beta and with it I can move part of my demo-deposit to a pieā¦canāt I do the same for real? I mean, if I deposit 1000⬠on T212, canāt I move 500⬠to one pie and the other 500⬠to a second pie?
On the back of the new transaction feeās I was wondering if I could change my payment method to either change to auto schedule invest from my balance, or if I could set up a standing order into a pie?
I love the pie but all the auto functionality is based on card transactions.
I set up the Instant Bank Transfer functionality today. It failed initially but worked the second time. Itās great that we have that option in the UK.
However, it seems to be restricted to a single bank account. Can support for multiple bank accounts be added in the future?
Same here⦠I am trying to figure out which Swiss bank or Fintech platform charges less for this, given I want to transfer CHF to my CHF-Trading212 account.
What I do find interesting is the flat 0.7% fee where they say they make no money on it. But credit card and debit card fees are usually different, and 0.7% for a debit card fee is extremely high, especially for a company thatās putting so much money through their processor they should be getting preferential rates (unless they just have a really bad processor and bad relationship with them.)
