IPO treatment going into next week

@David @George @Tony.V good afternoon

Can we ask for a revised expectation with regards to IPOs please?

I’m guessing the last couple weeks drama has caused quite the draw on resource your end, which has meant less time for the new IPOs and SPAC common stock splits to be addressed.

However I’d also make you aware we have two high profile IPOs coming next week, in AirBnB and DoorDash, which will surely generate a lot of demand on the forum, so it would be good to;

A) Bring some attention and care back to the IPOs; and

B) Revise expectations with regard to the general turnaround timescales of adding these going forward

Much appreciated if you could provide some guidance.

Thank you very much for the work you do regarding getting IPOs and SPACs on the platform, Joe, as well as the T212 team.

Thanks for this post also, I agree with you, it would be best to pre-empt this, otherwise the community forum is going to go upside down whenever Airbnb IPOs, as I imagine that a lot of users will be waiting for that one.

@Joey_Fantana IPOs’ priority hasn’t decreased, especially for the more popular ones that are upcoming. You can rest assured that we’ll have them ready the moment they go live.

Can I confirm the “Airbnb (Coming Soon)” says 20.12 - this is saying December 2020 not 20th December when the release date is the 10th December?

Anyone know what time GMT, Airbnb will be available on 212?

As far as I know, there isn’t usually a fixed time for IPOs. It can be any time on that day, during market hours.

It is usually not on market opening, and I imagine that it probably won’t be just before closing. So my guess would probably be between 3:30 and 6:00 UK time, it’s just a guess though.

Hey @David, can I again ask for revised expectation setting. Reminders were posted almost every half hour today but while all eyes were on ABNB, there were two other IPOs that were missed.

It does feel that the attention to IPOs has slipped a bit and I’m sure you know I post an IPO update each morning. It would be appreciated if someone could respond, either to acknowledge or even to advise if the likelihood is they can’t be added please.

Just saves everyone reminding a lot of time and sets the expectation before the drama starts. It also means in either case that folk like myself are better equipped to inform others who come on and post blindly asking for the same thing.

Tomorrow there a large number of IPOs scheduled. Just giving a heads up. Thanks very much.

Hi @David - understand there is all sorts of hardship going on behind the scenes but I’d be remiss not to point out this is also impacting the above.

Would it be more achievable if the IPOs were added prior to the US market open going forward?

It would be good to finish up this week wit all outstanding IPOs added for a clean sweep next week.
