ISA transfer (Vanguard to T212)

Hi all,

Following the fee changes with vanguard I am looking to switch my S&S ISA (Which is almost fully on the 100% Lifestrategy and just a few hundred pounds on Emerging markets and S&P500 funds) to T212. I opened an account with them and when trying to transfer the ISA there I see can only transfer the S&P500 ETF as it is the only one that is in T212 in specie too but I can’t transfer the 100% Lifestrategy.

My question is it okay if I just transfer this to the new ISA on T212 and just sell my 100% lifestrategy and buy again on different ETFs on T212? Will this not count as opening two different ISAs in the same tax year and paying into two different ones? It does sound to me like I cannot do it, if so what is the alternative?

Thanks in advance!

I thought the Vanguard platform had VWRP or VWRL, if they are good enough as an alternative to the UK lifestrategy 100%, then you won’t be out of market during the transfer?

As long as you don’t withdraw cash from Vanguard and deposit elsewhere, it won’t count as new money.
