Iām sorry to hear this and is totally not my experience at all. Have received 100% of my dividends upon till now (Pfizer was also paid to me last Monday). Sometimes there is quite a wait, but as announced Trading212 is going to work on that.
Maybe your problems have to do with not owning the shares on the record date or automatically reinvesting in pies. I would directly contact customer support about this. They can and will help you out, Iām sure.
Nah man. Im talking about adding all my cash in dividend history which application provides and the cash i have in balance on my portfolio - dividend section. Nearly 30% is missingā¦ It is the cash that T212 claimed to pay. Well it never happend, at least it looks like thisā¦
Iāve checked on my side and my dividend payments add up perfectly.
Sounds like a part of your dividend cash was reinvested (or transferred elsewhere) and therefore not available anymore as free funds on your account. If this is not the case Iām sure customer support can help you figure out where it has gone.
Well it should appear in my dividend PIE and then reinvested. The problem is the numbers do not add up. The numbers from my Dividend PIEs are overall 21% lower than amount from my history. I realised this yday when i recieved 2 notifications of dividend pay out. However when i checked my portfolios - nothing came in. Therefore I feel like somebody stole money from me.
Itās the unnecessary admin it creates on T212ās side.
By the FCA code, any expression of dissatisfaction should be construed by the company as an official complaint and responded to as such. That means phone calls (and potentially emails) to try and quash as many in under 24hrs as possible, acknowledgement letters for those that canāt be reached in time to meet that deadline, 8 week holding letters if the volumes are too large (and letās be real, the volumes of disgruntlement on here - valid or not - is huge), final decision letters, and all the investigation in between.
Now yes, a lot of these are valid and genuine concerns that deserve response and rectification. But the amount of these that T212 will have to respond to effectively educating them on where they havenāt bothered to self-educate is insane.
All in all the admin hours and manpower expense this takes away from the team being able to focus on improving the platform - like everyone wants them to - doesnāt have to be as myriad as they are, if only people would research their investments, products, T&Cs, regulations, etc. beforehand.
The forum might benefit from an Education section, but again Iām not sure how many folk just come on here to bark about something, then disappear for 6 months. Can lead a horse and all thatā¦
Saw that @Y.M sent you a DM about it. Looking forward to hearing about the outcome. Maybe this can help other community members with similar problems, so please give us an update after it is solved.
Iāve had the SSE payment today (5th day) which marks the first decrease in the average payment lag for quite a while.
This is encouraging and backs up T212ās commitment to reducing these delays as per the āFocus on Qualityā topic mentioned.
The JNJ dividend was due to be paid March 9th, so if you got paid on the 16th, thatās 5 working days later if I am interpreting your posts correctly.
The received dividend is calculated as per (shares held on the ex- div date * dividend per share) and the amount is visible in transactions. I will DM you with the exact calculation of your J&J dividend.
Man can you at least read my posts? The problem is not about my/yours calculation. The problem is that money never landed on my account. You get it now?
@zikka many forum members and T212 staff are trying to help and understand your situation, please give them some credit & thanks mate or keep it private with DM
Could part of the confusion be that the 212 dividend payment notifications contain the ex date, rather than the payable date. As a result payments appear later than what they actually are?
I just got one for KPC/KIT, it went XD 18th Feb which is the date on the 212 notification, but they pay date wasnāt until the 12th March.
The notification or wording from 212 is misleading.
Can you check my account as well? I have a number of dividends that should have landed to my account and they didnāt, like Pfizer.
I have no functional pies and no reinvestment options selected. I have also an empty ādividendā tab on my history, and nothing else on transactions either, only withdrawals and deposits.
