Hi @arjun206
I donāt believe this is the case.
You have answered your own question:
They will be paid, but some take slightly longer than others to come through. If if after 14 days you havenāt received them Iād contact support again.

U got my BP dividend first thing this morning
Yes got my BP dividend this morning as well.
So what 4 working days, given theyāre not directly paid to 212 thatās not that long a wait tbh.
Donāt known bout you, AZN paid 29th. Landed today.
Think the speed is picking up again.
When Trading 212 does something good should also be praised:
| Ex/EFF DATE | TYPE | CASH AMOUNT | DECLARATION DATE | RECORD DATE | PAYMENT DATE |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 03/12/2021 | CASH | $0.94 | 02/24/2021 | 03/15/2021 | 03/30/2021 |
Trading 212 paid it today. Only 2 days between dates. Congrats. Continue the good work.
Received RDSA dividend today. Payment date was 29.03.21, so took 3 working days.
Dividends been hitting my account much quicker recently, a day or two after. BP took a while but looks like things are generally speeding up.
Iām with you guys, dividend payment is much faster now.
But MDCās dividend distributed March 17, 2021 and still nothing. Kind of a long wait tbh. Must admit that at another brokerage, the stock dividend received but cash in lieu of fractional shares still hasnāt.
Do you notice any change on your MDC holdings, because it was a āStock Dividendā:
| Declared Date | Ex-Date | Record Date | Payable Date | Amount - As Declared | Amount - Adjusted for Stock Dividends and Splits | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2021 Dividends | ||||||
| 1/25/2021 | 3/2/2021 | 3/3/2021 | 3/17/2021 | $0.08 | $0.08 | Stock Dividend |
| 1/25/2021 | 2/9/2021 | 2/10/2021 | 2/24/2021 | $0.40 | $0.37 | Cash Dividend |

Or as it was so small ($0.08) if you own less than 1 stock it could not show up as cash.
Dividend payments are much much faster now, Iām so glad 212 has addressed the issue.
Sorry mis-read your post. Thought you said MCD (McDonalds) dividends. Deleted previous comment - thought it was strange as I received my McDonalds dividends ages ago.
was it enough to buy a Big Mac?
Hi Rick,
In T212 we cannot buy fractional shares of MDC.
No new shares allocated.
@Dougal1984, if is not enough to buy a Big Mac is it ok to steal your money?
Nooooo I need them to buy fractional shares!
Aha yes - I own several.
Hi Lusus (Tuga?
)
Try sending a message to T212 support. Last time I had a wider delay than usual, I sent them a message, coincidentally or not, I received the dividend on the same day or in next day (maybe itās was an error or a bug).
Yup

I did that already, but received standard reply. Not very helpful.
Iāll wait a few more days and will try again.
I also hold MDC with another brokerage, and I received the stock dividend in that account. But stockholders will receive cash for the amount that didnāt make for a full share, and they havenāt paid it as well.
Wild guessing that T212 will only pay for āeverythingā together.
Hi @RLX,
So I started a chat session with customer support and he understood the issue and opened an internal investigation to locate the funds.
Dividend was credited to my account. Donāt know what calculations did MDC, but dividend per share is not $0.08 as in the table youāve shared. I was expecting more according to the closing price of MDCās stock on the record date, and now that T212 credited it to my account I can confirmed it is not
.
T212 shows the net dividend per share (gross dividend - tax withhold amount).
Try doing the calculus:
Net dividend per share = Gross dividend per share * (1 - tax rate) = $0.08 * (1 - 0.15) = $0.068 per share.
After that the total amount (net dividend per share * number of shares) is converted to the account currency.
Note: I used the common US tax rate of 15%, confirm if it is that, on your History tab.
