Luminar stock with SPAC Company

Hi there

I am wondering if anyone can help please as I am not totally clued up with the SPAC companies.

I am interested in LUMINAR who are doing a reverse merger with Gores Metropoulos probably in Q4, can anyone tell me if the current ticker GMHI is the correct stock to buy for the merger with Luminar (LAZR)?
I am just a little confused as I read somewhere that the ticker for the merger will be LAZR for both before AND after the merger.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please.

Many thanks in advance

Hi @Davielovesgravy,

GMHI is the one you need. The ticker will change from GMHI to LAZR on the day of the merger.

β€œOnce the transaction closes, Luminar will maintain its name and will be listed on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol LAZR.”
