New - Cheap stock

Greatland Gold has had alot of positive market sentiment in the last few months, but it is also an exploration mine project so itā€™s a very risky investment.

I would say itā€™s on the cusp of somewhat de-risked. With Newcrest fronting all the capital at Havieron and no debt on the balance sheet.

Becomes riskier when they sell Havieron, especially if the other sites arenā€™t as promising.

I have quite a few shares in Greatland Gold now. Gets frustrating seeing the red daily but I have everything crossed they donā€™t run out of money prior to production at Havieron.
Investing.com is my go to a few timeā€™s a day to check any news.
Definitely risky as mines notoriously run out of money but with Newcrest backing them on this one :crossed_fingers:t2: Hereā€™s hoping.

If youā€™ve got red daily I assume you bought in the last week or so when it was 0.5p+ higher. :upside_down_face:

For me GGP is a nice steady and fairly predictable climb, even more so as it gets derisked further on results. Around 20p I might take some more profit or see where it goes, only regret is not buying more.

Ready for the next climb soon.:+1:

If you want the Telegram group link let me know.

Quick swings Iā€™ve got these atm, be careful thought as nearly all are pump and dump. So you can lose a lot if you donā€™t play them correctly. Even will the best DD they are still volatile to play.

SINT
JFIN
SHIP
GNUS
MARK
TOPS
SAND
IDEX
RPRX
BIOC
IMRN
TRIB
XSPA
RNWK
SRNE
KTOV
INPX
TTNP
GHSI
VAL

SINT will probably run today.

Holding GNUS and MARK until the next pumps :hugs:

If you are expecting it to reach 20p then you could buy more at current prices, expecting it to increase by 67%.
The other issue though is that even if it does eventually rise (hopefully) it may take time and other investments may be quicker and less risky.

Theyā€™ll never get Havieron into production imo. Theyā€™ll let Newcrest continue to foot the bill and then sell it to them for cash + streaming royalty to fund other projects.

MRE next for GGP, sit on it till then - should be good.

You got me there! Bought last week. Iā€™m late for most things in life so no change when it comes to GGP
I keep thinking ā€œcome on drop below $10 just for a momentā€ but no such luck.

My regret is not knowing about this sooner  and getting in there like you did! Wow!

Iā€™m going to keep tracking it and I do tend to read forums out there on whatā€™s happening, where one does say we could keep bumbling along until July.
Another says they have 250 workers in camp - you wouldnā€™t employ them if you didnā€™t think you could pay them and still earn a profit? :woman_shrugging:t2:

Thatā€™s my afternoon organised, lots to look into there. I donā€™t go huge on volatile stocks, I learnt my lessons over on CFD silver (thankfully I made and lost then ran)

You think? Could be the case. Might not be the case. Such conflicting opinions out there :exploding_head:

MRE?

Mineral Resource Estimation - basically when they give an idea of what theyā€™ve found.

100% theyā€™re not going to mine it. Why would they Newcrest need the mine to keep Telfer alive and they need the cash to carry on exploring.

Its a big deal now, money isnā€™t a worry for Havieron - everyone and their dog would lend money for this.

Ah right I see - is that the news in July people seem to be talking about?
It all goes so quiet on the news youā€™ve got to search forums for info. Sift through a whole load of rubbish for a useful piece (bit like finding gold!) of info.

I wonder if thatā€™ll be the case, big cat companies lending with ease to be part of the action. Am very curious to see how this will all pan out (no pun intended!)

Crazy to think I lived only 10 hours from this mine when I was in Aussie! :flushed:

Can we keep this thread alive with updates on cheap stocks, I find myself floating back to it often :grinning:

Not so much penny stocks, but some good ones I have had fun playing with so far include:

  1. HP - Helmrich & Payne, Oil and offshore rigs
  2. STOB - Stobart Group, Airline Rail and clean energy
  3. COTY - Womens brand that owns hair & beauty stuff
  4. AA - Holding this one coming into the bad weather seasons. Nice ups and downs.
  5. SPCE - Virgin spaceship thing.

And a few other fun things in the mix.

Just watched a video on YouTube, apparently theyā€™ve formed a merger with Golden Nugget Group. Huge Online casino amongst other things.
Pop a few shares on to see. Why not.
Thanks :raised_hands:t2:

Iā€™ll check these out.

Wanted to handle a 10/15 stocks portfolio in the beginning :woman_facepalming:t2:

Itā€™s too hard in this pandemic not to try and see what else is out there.

Correct! Lots of heat on this one due to that merger.

Iā€™d be really careful of Powerhouse - it isnā€™t the right technology (gasification has been tried and failed multiple times). The step to hydrogen is just trying to get in on the need for hydrogen - the recent EU proposal on the hydrogen economy would exclude so called green hydrogen (blue hydrogen slightly confusingly is the ā€œgreenerā€ option as from water plus renewables rather than from gas).
