@Joey_Fantana you seem to know a LOT! Is there a simple way that I can see what penny stocks have been added to 212 each day please? Or even all of the stocks. I’ve been looking for an answer to this for some time now and unable to find one. Thanks

Hi @Mr_Moose - I’m not sure there are many penny stocks being added on a daily basis, at least not that I’m aware of.

In terms of a list of all stocks, @Finki has created an extract of this a couple of times now, but it can be hard to locate if you’re not sure of what key words to search for.

Fortunately for you I bookmarked the last time it was posted;

Might be a little out of date, but not by much.

Thanks, Mr F although that’s not entirely true - at least for the question asked.

I can do a daily differential to isolate “new” stocks T212 have added… then I can overlay the Penny Stock requirement to form the final list.

This is something I’ve looked to output…but just haven’t got around to it and it’s a massive server load… so I form it manually… but not daily…too much hassle

A (not entirely useful) workaround is to search the new FinKi Stock Search for the stock you require…

and wait til it appears with a T212 tick …

What does this mean ha? Thanks for helping here it’s appreciated, if you could automate this to show new stocks added you would be an absolute hero!

Yeah, it’s on my radar. I automatically collect the entirely universe of T212 everyday on a Cron job and store it… so I have the ability… but the routine to process every stock yesterday versus every stock today and then filter by reqirements (say, OTC and PSE) is a massive server load… and my server is crashing all the time now as the FinKi API is serving north of 5m API calls per month and my server is pretty much broken :poop:

What’s the deal with T212 forcing the “Penny Stock Exempt” rule if I can easily find 16 OTC stocks not currently PSE that are on the platform?

Not a clue mate. Were they PSE beforehand and had the status revoked due to no longer meeting the criteria perhaps…?
