Iāve mentioned on previous posts what problems Iāve had before, but todayā¦
Ugh, where do I start. I had some time spare so I did some trading. Opened up my portfolio, screen opens up with the text box, again⦠so you get rid of that. Try scrolling down in that ridiculous pop-up bubble and it gets stuck.
Finally after messing around for what feels like ages get it scrollable again. Find the position I want to trim, do so and the ābubbleā drops again.
Reopen again, guess what text box, arghhhhhhhhhā¦
Finally sell the trim down the position to take profits.
Close the window, find the cash box, fine. Of whatās that, I want to check the assets allocation another box.
Back to portfolio, text box again, try scrolling and it gets stuck.
What would take me 5 minutes before takes me twice as long as so much frustration.
Please for the love of all that is holy listen to your forum, listen to your community, listen to Reddit, listen to all the emails and listen to your own app in house chat and revert back to the legacy UI that you had back in June.
Youāve got it backwards Scrooge. We arenāt resistant to change, but this update just hides important information and makes things worse. You can clearly see by the users that have voiced their concerns and there are many others that havenāt taken the time to complain due to the holiday season rush or time to do so, like 4 friends of mine I got on T212.
I agree. I usually like everthing from T212, but the current state of the UI is such an issue for me that Iām considering moving to another broker.
At this point, the UI is getting way too complex to use. Please get your UX team to analyze how to optimize the user flow. If this is the best they can do, you should consider hiring a more competent team.
These are AI generated images, but I think such a layout would improve the portfolio overview compared to the current situation.and introduces the allocation in a more pleasant way
Serious question. What is the correct way to provide this kind of feedback? Is this format of multiple threads of moaning actually being looked at/cataloged/useful or is there a formal way of highlighting a single issue that others can vote on like GitHub so you can judge what is most important?
Having only started investing with T212 this year I deliberately chose the platform based on the simplicity of the iOS phone experience which I thought was good, but have to agree with others this is a massive step backwards. I even persuaded my wife to move investment platform based on the UI. It was intuitive, now it is not. You can image what my wife thinks!
Agree with others that a beta group would be a good idea like other major IT platforms, ideally with a toggle between beta and production, which I would happily participate in.
After a week I finally discovered the pull up function showing the individual investments and the pies in a somewhat similar fashion as the āoldā layout but without the filter/sort functions of that far superior predecessor. I donāt want that most import view behind a nifty swipe action. My suggestion is to restore ALL functions, including sort, filter and view options (individual investments, pies or both) on the (terrible) current investments page AND offer as an extra, optional feature to show all investments whether they are individual or pie based (like the current default) and Iāll promise to almost NEVER use that feature (in my case it now shows 245 stocks without filter options and no doubt some users will see 1000+). Many other suggestions in this discussion I support, but this one is for me the most important. You can add any cool feature you want but leave the old investments page with its view/filters/sorts alone!
I find your idea for a beta group very interesting. And I would love to participate if it would be introduced.
And the most Ideas are how i see it published in this community.
But saidly people open howninsee jt an new section for evybidea even its similar as an other ideas or against it.
Disastrous UI change on the mobile Account page, clearly bad UX as it makes the user do more actions to see all important information. How does seeing the Heat map / Assets allocation helps me on mobile? As a user - I was using this screen to quickly check my current prices on my assets, and be aware of the changes happening, and now I see some percentage⦠so now I need to investigate what happened and where. The see all screen - is a visual mess also as they made more obvious how much Iām losing, like do they aim for me to liquidate the account or why is Unrealized account like the first prominent element besides the current value. Oh man, pls change it back, think why users would use mobile instead of desktop, and always do these changes with serious usability test before releasing.
