Possible service disruption

Now even we can not login the system…

@Tony.V Any chance I can get a text message when this is fixed? :joy: I got stuff to do.

If I’ve set up a profit limit, will it be processed if I’m not logged in because of the outage? Edit: link says “yes”. Computer says “bad gateway”.
Will the margin call be processed, should the price drop enough?

Capital and GI are not having this issue. People have been complaining since last week; what did u do to improve the capacity. You need to be more proactive

Investing is about reaching a goal or destination. Trading however seems to be the point here and now which is different from my perspective.

What would be interesting to see - is what the level of users is on 212 at certain times of the day.

I get we don’t pay a service fee for the platform, but would be useful to know.

I mean if say the system is built to handle 600k of users, and every hour apart from say 1400-1500, the system has 100k users on average, and then spikes to 900k, it doesn’t really make sense to pay for server capacity to cope for such a brief period of time as it is probably not worth the cost that would be picked up by the end user.

Maybe there could be a ‘premium’ tier for those that want guaranteed access, and they get a separate server?

Nope, nobody can get connected.
Once the issue is fixed @Tony.V or someone from @Team212 will let us know.
Alteratively, you can go to the live trading page and refresh now and again until it loads — then you’ll know it’s fixed.

Thats actually really useful @m3talaxis

Even if 212 were up, Interactive Broker is down.

no connection at all

Seriously thinking of closing everything and leaving T212.
My Big Worry —— if we experience a major crash we won’t get into T212 to manage our positions and could loose everything.
This is unacceptable!
Sill no connection :rage:

Could we be witnessing a crash :joy::joy::joy:

Great stuck in stocks going down 6% premarket, market opens and can’t get into 212 to sell, now watching as they drop 10% and still no service 32 minutes later. Will 212 compensate me for the thousands £££ I just lost? No they won’t. Not the first time only joined up a few months ago, will seriously have to consider my options.

Yes, very true! T212 is highly dependent on Interactive from what I know.
Only after they’re up, will T212 be up as well.
