Recycling Bin For Unwanted Stocks

Just a random suggestion: a recycling bin could be added to our T212 portfolios for shares/assets we no longer want e.g. a penny share which we want to donate to charity or whatever.

There have been instances where I have been unable to sell low value items that I wanted to get rid of and I thought maybe others have faced a similar situation.

Thanks.

That’s an interesting suggestion. However, I’m unsure how something like this would work in practice. Shares represent ownership in a company, and even if they’re small or unwanted, transferring or declining ownership would involve complex legal and regulatory processes. Still, I’ll pass on your feedback for consideration.

You can contact the support (via app) and file a liquidation request.

Worked for me! :dove:

Bogi, would it be possible to enable a pie for stocks that have been delisted or trading suspended to be added into?

It would be useful to be able to create a pie and include delisted stocks, suspended stocks or those that are no longer tradeable so that we can keep them together and not in the main list of investments. At the moment I believe the app does not allow this, however I imagine it would be an easier solution than removing the investments altogether.

I understand how useful it would be to group non-tradable stocks like delisted or suspended ones. However, this might be challenging to implement due to technical complications with the current Pie logic.

Perhaps it is possible as a part of this proposal if it can be introduced.
