@Team212

We have been patient… Please can you provide a meaningful update for the Russian stocks.

I understand the what is happening in Ukraine is bad, but you still have the responsibility to keep your clients informed on the status of their investments. There has been no formal update since they were suspended from trading. There has been no confirmation on the conversion of the ADRs? Or what will happen with dividends?

We are asking for open dialogue on where we currently stand, what are you guys currently working on or have been working on regarding the situation and if possible an expected timeline.

Relatively old article but highlights the untimely response of brokers

Newer article cheaper alternative albeit not available in uk but can you facilitate the conversion?

Nothing has changed, @Cobjr. The Russian stocks remain suspended from trading. If anything changes, I’ll let you know, and we’ll also update the article here.

There isn’t any news, @Cobjr. However, we continue to monitor the situation with Russian stocks, and if there’s any news, we’ll notify shareholders.

No updates at the moment, I’m afraid. I’ll let you know in case of any developments.

Please provide an update on the status or this may require legal action

Oh. The legal action threat, took a while to appear here. It’s usually more instant.

Unfortunately, there are no updates, @Cobjr.

The Russian stocks are still suspended from trading, and some of them are officially delisted.

Personally what I was planning to do, had to buy BAE Systems instead

If you had money on the line, you’d probably be less of a prick about it to be honest

Personally, I’ve only got a whopping 6.X shares in Evraz, so I’m not too bothered (other than it’s taking up space on my T212 account)

@Michael.M is there any way to take control of my shares manually? No point having yourselves hold it on my behalf when I can’t sell it or benefit from it in any way possible (e.g. transfer over to a physical certificate, which Evraz is facilitating as they are maintaining a register themselves now). I can send yourselves the forms to fill out.

T212 is more than welcome to only transfer my whole shares and can keep the remainder for themselves.

I’m sorry to disappoint you but to facilitate a share transfer, both parties must support the process.

Yeah, I know? What would happen if I wanted to close my T212 account? Would you guys hold me hostage instead of transferring my shares in a sanctioned stock to me directly to hold?

@Bogi.H For Gazprom and others they have been able to facilitate the share transfer so why dont you transfer you need to provide options for your clients.

Please can you reply

The approach i have now taken to my Russian stock (evraz) is to forget about it and see it as lessons learnt. Hard reality tho just saying

This is the way. I think a lot of people jumped into Evraz as it had a double-digit yield which should ring alarm bells about risk and volatility.
