Iāve ever bought a pair of crystal brandy glasses from TB. And I have not visited them ever since the snotty teenager shop assistant told me āno one does single button jackets since 80sā ![]()
Iām not in but would consider and like the look of GAW and ocardo, potentially Aviva too
Well that must surely mean theyāre back in fashion, no? ![]()
Iām surprised they donāt offer single button jackets tbh.
I wouldnāt mind adding a Financial to the folio. Just canāt see one I like other than Polar, who arenāt on 212 currently.
This was in 2000s, not a proud moment but I saw Nigel Farrage sporting a navy single button Jacket in a hearing and just got ājacket envyā ![]()
Ha ha, Iām a pretentious twat that prefers two buttons even though he only ever fastens one of them!
What do people think of rolls Royce at its current price?
Iād Google āfalling knifeā, mate. Wouldnāt touch this.
Oh wow, that bad do you think?
Iāve stayed well clear for now, my colleagues at work keep pricing down
Iām loving my newriver reit. Really good price right now and ex date soon
RR are doing a RI, Iāll wait till after that before I get in. This will be less than a quid very soon! Similar to IAG, this could do well in a few years but I will pick up the pieces after the RI. For now Iād stay out:-)
Forgive my ignorance Schu but Iām going to risk looking silly here. Whatās an RI?

I personally wouldnāt be getting in to RR yet, hold off and see how it settles after the RI. Iāll be looking to pick a few shares up after this as a bit of a punt on its return to profitability in the years ahead. Itās very much alingned to how aviation is doing. Itās going to take time.
Yes but they have stated their intentions to move more into the power systems and energy side. Theyāre also leading electric flight. I think 5 years from now this will have been a great buy.
Is Associated British Foods a good investment?
Itās around Ā£18/19 at the moment and they own Primark too.
In an interview with The Mail on Sunday, NatWest chairman Sir Howard Davies said that Natwest bank was in a strong position and could resume dividends if regulators decided to lift the ban.
Just added ABF - Associated British Foods and Pay.L Paypoint to my watch list.
Surely paypoint is going to die?
Thanks for the link
