will this new update have pies inside pies like M1?
Thanks for the beta invite, Iām enjoying able to enter a fixed amount, helps me DCA as well as pay the lowest amount of stamp tax possible.
Iām curious to know how this helps with stamp duty. Isnāt it a fixed 0.5% no matter how small the purchase value? I know that if using a stock transfer form, youāll pay Stamp Duty only if the transaction is over Ā£1,000. But on electronic purchases there is no lower limit.
Placing an order for £3 displays a tax of £0.01 when an order of £3.01 has a tax of £0.02.
So fix amounts allow me to max out spend before the next stamp duty bracket.
Really?! So you think 1000 orders of Ā£3 pays Ā£10 stamp duty whereas 1 order of Ā£3000 pays Ā£15? I wjll have to try that in practice account as I suspect you actually pay 0.015 per Ā£3 not the truncated 0.01 that is displayed. Your free funds will show the accumulating effect of whatās happening in in displayed decimal points.
Great Feature to have. Thank you:)
Also noticed this myself.
This happens because āunder the hoodā those numbers are calculated with very high precision and rounded up or down to the penny in the user interface. By the time the feature is out of beta we will push a small fix.
Are you still allowing people to enter this BETA?
