What happened to alert notes?

And while I’m at it, can you revert the awful UI changes which were rolled out today?

Hiding the FX impact behind a click/modal is very bad UI.

It now requires an extra click to see pertinent data about every stock not in your home currency.

Agree. Please bring back the old UI.

I thought i was the only one. Removing that notes feature is a bad one. We need it back

1000’s hours of research lost. I have 100’s of price alerts, all had a notation, so I knew what the alert meant. Gone. This is a real FU.

I have the same problem - all of my trading notes were in the price alerts.

Trading212, please bring back alert notes and remove that “see all” on alerts. Or make configurable number off sealable alerts. If I have 5 alerts, why I have to click to “see all” ?

Yes!

The FX impact is really important to be visible at all times!

Please bring the FX impact back!

Haven’t you noticed, with every change we get less and less info available, need to click more and more on icons, sub menus to get what was nice, clean and easy to read before, apparently its the new wave of changes they keep deciding are necessary yet nobody wants.

An interesting question - is the company actually allowed to delete our personal notes without warning - isn’t this personal information?
At the very least, I’d like it sent in a text file so that I can copy and paste into a notes app.

Not only FX, but also the chart setting. Earlier you could directly click and change from 5 minute to 15 minute graph, etc. Now you have to click on the wheel and then a pop up comes up and then you can change the chart view. So the only “improvement” is that you need to do more clicks and it’s slower when you really want to do it quickly. Really bad!

Reminds me when Opera decided to roll out a new browser with no bookmarks and all the bookmars with saved links, etc. disappeared forever. Geez, are developers really that clueless? Only making changes for the sake of changes, even if it’s worse than it was before?

Exactly. So are we going to complain or what? Otherwise it seems they don’t give a F.

I have written in numerous locations how terrible I find their changes, on these forums, Reddit.
Also told them the recent changes are a step back in direct chat support.
Not much more I can do, looking for another platform right now also, not sure these concerns are going to be taken seriously despite a whole lot of people unhappy with them.

Same. Please share which alternative platforms you’re considering

Can someone from T212 or anyone explain to me how T212 can remove everybody’s notes from price alerts without warning?
If you need to remove the notes at least give us warning our portfolios depend upon these notes to guide us with our plans.
Thank you

my portfolio not our portfolios

May be not yours, but more than mine alone, I’m sure. Grammer king!

Grammar.

But wasn’t trying to make it a grammar thing - more of a stop trying to form a mob thing. Feedback what you like and dislike and await a response. Not everything has to be riot and pitchforks.

I’m asking a question you’re the one pointlessly diverting from the topic in hand. Thank you for showing yourself so quick, but then your type always do. Have a nice day X

Hi, everyone :waving_hand:

We appreciate the time you all took to share your views on this change. We’re well aware that we won’t always get things right when we make changes, and due to this, we have always been open to hearing both your positive feedback and constructive criticism.

Following all of the input we received here and across other platforms, I’m happy to deliver the good news that the price alert notes will make a comeback in the next version of the app, which we expect to release soon.

As we continue adding new features, resulting in more and more info in the main screen, we have to cut a little from what we already have to make the interface less crowded. What you see now will be further developed with your feedback in mind, and what you currently see is definitely not our final vision of how we want our product to look going forward.

While we’re working on bringing the notes back, I want to touch on two details about them:

  • All current notes have not been deleted, and will still appear if a price alert notification that you set in the past gets triggered
  • All notes that you took the time to write in the past will become visible once the newest app version becomes available

Last but not least, a quick reminder: in addition to the price alert notes, you can also use the text options in the advanced chart interface as an alternative. This way, you can set or anchor information directly on your charts. You can also add text to other tools you use to chart, such as trend lines, horizontal rays, etc.
