Kongsberg Gruppen (KOG, KOZ1) will undergo a demerger/spinoff in April (22nd to 23rd) where the stock will split 75-25%, 75% will remain as Kongsberg and the remains 25% will be spun off to newly created Kongsberg Maritime.
Will T212 handle the newly allocated shares on the 23rd of April or will there be a delay in adding them to existing KOG holders, and finally will the spin off shares be available for trading right away?
At the moment, we don’t have any specific updates. The company’s main listing is on the Oslo Stock Exchange, and the spun-off company is expected to be listed there as well. There is currently no confirmation of a listing on Gettex.
The shares will be allocated as soon as possible; however, trading will depend on when and where the new company begins trading.
Hello T212
So the demerger has happened and I believe you should have an answer by now. Could you please advise what is happening with KOZ1 shares, how KM ASA will be allocated?
Based on the latest information we have received, the new shares are traded on the Frankfurt Exchange, which is not a supported market. We’re currently working with our custodian to determine the best course of action and will keep all shareholders informed as soon as we have more clarity.
Kongsberg Maritime As, Z4Q Gettex now appears to be active. I’ve managed to add it into a pie and placed a buy order (which after 40 minutes still hasn’t gone through, but I’m sure that it will eventually).
