AutoInvest - Feedback

Thank you. Ive managed to free up the cash but am now having the opposiye problem! Im trying to sell a LSE ETF and am just getting the spinning wheel as the exchange is closed. As a result i cant do anything else to the pie. Thanks

Only piece of feedback I have when I am manually investing into companies in my pie it states my order will be processed when LSE is open but I’m investing into a NYSE Instrument.

It does invest just a misleading pop up message

Guys i have a doubt, what to do if i have to sell 1 stock and add another manually from the pie?

i tried editting the pie, the one i removed went to a priority list(but continued performing) and the one i added remained nil.

Ps i did saved the changes.

When editing your pie you’re modifying its targets. This action will not trigger investing or rebalancing automatically.

If I choose autoinvest daily, is it business days only or will every monday be loaded up with 3x the daily amount?

Hello guys !

First let me say that this new feature ROCKS ! It’s awesome to have this available !

Many people already mentioned what I’d like to see improved or added, just let met remind:

  1. Have the possibility to merge current shares/fractional shares to a pie.
  2. Make my tech stocks fractionable pleaseeeee :’(((
  • ZScaler
  • Ubiquiti
  • Fortinet
  • Appian
  • Palo Alto
  • Splunk
  • Synopsis
  • Arista
  • Ping Identity
  • Zuora
  • Alarm.com
  • XP

Great work to all the team, keep it up, it’s an awesome feature, works great and i will enable autoinvest soon in my prepared pies !

I guess you have LSE companies but using the custom fund distribution you have selected only US ones. Maybe we didn’t account for “0%” sliders and still sent the warning. Will be fixed. Thanks for reporting it!

Yes, this is expected. While a pie is investing/selling/rebalancing you can’t place additional activities.

If you want, you can cancel the current activity by taping on the x button in the progress bar.

Cheers, George. Thanks for the quick reply.

Good to know so I don’t bust through the ISA allowance too early

Firstly, amazing service. Thank you all for your hard work. I’m truly satisfied!

In terms of constructive criticism,

  • I made my pie, filled out everything, clicked invest and deposited a sum amount. Due to an exchange being closed, it told the investing would resume the next morning. I wanted to withdraw some funds from my primary account (not the pie specifically) and out of habit I clicked “Withdraw all funds”. I did not think this would withdraw the cash from my pie also, but it did. Is this supposed to happen? If so, could you guys consider making the cash in PIES separate and not linked with account cash withdrawals? Unless you specifically choose to withdraw it from the PIE itself? Sorry if this is too confusing, what I’m implying is, you should only be able to withdraw cash from the account itself, not directly from the PIES. So if you want to defund the PIE, you would specifically withdraw cash from the specific PIE, onto the account, and then from there, withdraw cash from the account.

AutoInvest will take the cash directly from the payment method you’ve selected.

Thanks George, I tried that but its stuck on cancel now!

We are really happy you like the pies!

This is a known issue and we’re working on a fix. When withdrawing funds from your account you shouldn’t be able to touch the cash in your pies but currently you can.

Give it some time please, and DM me if it doesn’t resolve. Also are you using iOS or Android device?

don’t know if it was suggested already:
It would be better to show the projected annual return when at the bottom of the list as well. For example when dealing with big pies, you have to go the the top again every time to see whether the returns will be better.
Another suggestion is that after choosing the pie contents, there will be an option to automatically suggest the best ratios for being conservative or with biggest return.

Also a question (which i assume i already know the answer, but want to be clear), the annual return percentage includes both dividend and the growth itself, right?

Many thanks and well done. I love it.

In continuation of the post with parallel between Wishlists tabs and inside the pie tabs (Overview | Holdings | Autoinvest) it would come handy to swipe between tabs as the mechanics used for Wishlists section.

Hey, it would be cool if you can configurate your reininvestet dividends. for example you invest each month 50 euro in cola and 50 euro and amazon with a pie. but you want more of amazon so you could put 100% of your dividens into amazon and not 50% cola and 50% amazon. or is that already possible

This is a game changer alright , created my first pie “Tech Titans” tonight
deposited and all worked exceptionally smoothly.

Only issue encountered is that Service Now (NOW) is non fractional and so cannot be added. would be great if this could be addressed

Congrats to all at T212 - you should be proud of what you have achieved here.

I have been wondering the same thing, I just got access to the beta and added the stocks that I already own to it. As I have set an investing goal I was hoping my currently owned positions would add towards this goal, but they are currently separate. Other than this is love the update, it’s a game changer. But if the feature we want is added, then I can use it to its full potential and it will ease my auto investing experienceđŸ‘đŸ»
