AutoInvest - Feedback

I spent some time yesterday evening configuring the Auto Investment for my piesā€¦ some points that were not much clear for me:
(probably they were mentioned here before but itā€™s already impossible to follow everything)

1 - Having to choose an initial funding value for the Pie could be optional.

2 - Since the markets were closed, I have cancelled one of the fundings and edit the Pie, so now I have 100ā‚¬ ā€œfrozenā€ as cash inside it and I have to use the account free cash to Invest in the pie to be able to use the case there, before the next round of auto investmentā€¦ it will be very nice if you can just use whatever value is available as pie cash. Not sure if I miss something about this.

Everything else was just fineā€¦ it is by far the only and most desirable feature I was waiting for :tada: :confetti_ball: :balloon:

  1. You mean to be able to set it to 0? We will think about that. It might be hard to implement since some payment methods do not allow authorisation with Ā£0.
  2. I agree, this needs improvement. An ā€˜Invest free cashā€™ button is planned for development.

Yesā€¦ something like, I just want to setup everything but will do the first investment in future only, without an initial funding.

Itā€™s ok to set a minimal, itā€™s just weird but doesnā€™t hurt

Hi, would you be able to add me to that list please. I have a pie stuck at the moment

Hi @Andrew1,
Thank you for letting us know. We will be reviewing and fixing your pie shortly.

Weā€™ll keep you updated. :slightly_smiling_face:

I have an example where my wife has invested a total of Ā£2k into a pie in two separate manual 1k investments on her account. However it says she has invested Ā£1997.23. Is there an issue with spread, stamp duty or something not showing up?

Itā€™s a known issue with the calculation of stamp duty. You can follow the progress of whatā€™s fixed here:

Hi, few things are probably been discused here, but itā€™s already a long thread so my apologize i am just giving feedback

  1. It would be good for me if you could see just your single stock in your Investments tab and not those in pies itā€™s a but confusing for me
  2. And following that if the same thing would be done with your portfolio overview
  3. This one was probably mention but iā€™d like to see also to add a cash position into my pie
And i am also looking forward to transfering my existing shares into pie

Thanks a lot for your hard work, this product is amazing  :+1:

Hello guys, it might have been answered, but there is so much daily messages and new posts that I canā€™t keep up.

Do you know if they plan to add a feature so that your autoinvest is directly in the self-balance mode (buying more of underweighted stocks), and not by target ?

Thanks !

you are coveredā€¦

Itā€™s possible to invest by target %age, self-balancing underweight/overweight or use a custom allocation of your choosingā€¦

Yes but itā€™s only for the manual invest not the auto invest am I right?

from the above post I would say yes, self-balancing of auto-investments will be available in the futureā€¦

Hope that helps

I got a notification that i received dividend but iā€™m not seeing this in my ā€œDividend incomeā€ of my pie. I have the setting Auto reinvest on.

Same here. But I guess the ex-div date was before I created my pie and the received dividend is for shares already owned outside the pie.

Such a great option. But i think it would be best if the portfolio of pie and normal investment chart all are not in the same list.

Check out the photo, the pending orders are from pie & others are normal investment. If they have separate panel we wonā€™t be bothered looking after our normal share.

Thank you Sir

Hey there @mjwtan,

You are absolutely right, @chantal! If the eligible holdings have been purchased before creating the pie, the dividends are paid outside the pie and the indication for them can be found in the ā€˜Historyā€™ section of the account.

I hope this helps!

Hi there @L.D are there any updates on the matter?

Is it possible or will it be possible soon to export our portfolio (number of shares and average cost per share) into an excel ?
