From the sounds of it, the regulators have the right idea, but poor implementation likely as always with everything.
Surely all that needs added, is a disclaimer at the start or end of the YouTube chat or whatever, of the credentials of those talking. Otherwise you are sort of restricting freedom of speech or whatever.
I donāt know if a disclaimer is enough. The freedom of speech is important, but is also dangerous. As we already saw people promoting āalternative realitiesā (conspiracy theories, negationism, discriminating ideologies) and illegal proposals (Scams, Ponzi Schemes, money laundering, etc). Or promoting wonderful āmedicinesā to some illness or spreading wrong and fake information on Health matters.
