I started using trading 212 Invest 2 days ago. I’m just practicing with pence at the moment.

Please look at the attached picture. Why does it say I’m at a minus when the current stock price is higher than when I bought it?

You haven’t attached a picture but it’ll be one or both of these.

Either you have bought a stock in the currency that’s different from your own.

Or the bid is still below your avg price. Look at the sell price.

The number at the top is the buy price.

But probably because of the FX currency impact.

You could be ‘selling’ i.e. shorting the stock too, I guess.
