💳 Introducing the 212 Card

The cashback will be credited daily to your Invest Account automatically at the end of each business day. The cashback will be applied once the transaction is completed, typically within 1-3 days. If the amount is less than one penny (or cent, depending on the currency), we will retain it and roll it forward until one penny is accumulated. Once this amount is reached, you’ll receive a cashback.

Just tried again and it is now verified with Curve :+1:t4: May have fixed something in the backend or server issues earlier.

@iAndy is yours still classified by Curve as a business card as others said earlier in the thread?

Yes unfortunately. I will still raise that separate issue with Curve.

Curve may have fixed the issue in my case.

At least, the app is now showing the normal default “this card is linked to Curve” rather then asking for my employment status…

I still can’t get verified :see_no_evil:

same. Still not working and the cashback hasnt worked either

Thanks for the link.

A little heads up, I had tried other cards (due to EU customers still not eligible) in that site, and sometimes the details aren’t 100% correct, e.g. Card type as Credit for plain vanilla Debit Cards.

Btw, any ETA for EU customers, for the opening of the waitlist, the issue of digital card and the physical card delivery?

I seem to be having the same problems as others.
Added my virtual card to Curve for them to think it’s a business card and incur a fee.
Tried the work around using PayPal in Curve but T212 declines the transactions.
T212 card worked fine as the standalone card for the declined transactions through Curve-Paypal.

Our plan is to begin sending invites to EU at the end of spring, with the exact date yet to be determined.

Update cashback seems to work, just takes longer to appear compared to other platforms. Note that you get cashback in the form of the currency of the account.

Handled similar to how dividends works.

Would be cool in future to choose between account currency or have it the same as the currency spent/div

Hmm… I’m also stuck trying to add the new debit card to Curve. I ordered a physocal card (which hasn’t arrived yet), but can already see the card number, so I tried to add it to Curve without success.
It fails the card verification process, even though I do click “Confirm” after the notification shows up inside Trading 212 app (this is on iOS), when I go back to Curve, I get a message saying “Could not verify your card, try again etc.”

Maybe I’ll try again in a bit.

Another question: does it work if you add it to PayPal?

Having exact same issues as you. See my previous comments in there thread

So did I buy then it worked and it all looks verified now.

So keep trying

@crabbycrabcrab thanks but how did you solve it? Have you had to contact either Curve or Trading 212 support? Or it just fixed itself?
I did make a small Amazon gift top up and the card worked for the direct online purchase. I don’t understand why Curve isn’t verifying it. I do have the same home address registered in both Curve and T212

With me I kept trying for 3 days only managed to get verified last night after my 10th attempt

ok thanks, I can be patient
But after the verification went through, can you confirm Curve doesn’t charge you additional (business or foreign card) fees but treats T212 card as a regular UK debit card?

I don’t see it as a business debit card no. So no extra charges

Ive contacted both and each seem to blame each other at this stage.

So no solution! Think will have to wait for apple pay to kick in.

Exactly my issue too. Curve just doesn’t verify my card. All my details are correct. Address included. Just wont work. Curve told me last Friday that they are looking into it. It’s Thursday and still doesn’t work.

It just feels like a botched product launch to be fair. As all my other cards inc. PayPal all connect and are used through Curve.

Good news is that my PayPal account connected no problem and I have used curve already to make transactions on my PayPal account.
