More!...Stop Loss Hunting from Trading 212

@Wazzab… ok so, after looking through my email correspondence they acknowledged my issue of a large wick but without stating it was an error and quoted…
‘We always strive to represent the real market conditions in the best way possible, although the spreads of the option were indeed wide at the time we have decided to offer you the amount of **£[92.89].’

It was a small options CALL and on SNAP it’s not exactly a volatile stock either, so for a price drop to of have happened and then came straight back to the same position didn’t make sense. I challenged and PLUS500 agreed to refund me.

Don’t know whether my experience of this happening to me helps u in anyway but good luck :+1:

This has happened to me a number of times when trading currencies. Latest example from today, 30th March 2021. Would love to have somebody from trading212 explain this otherwise I’m just going to open an account elsewhere.

Second screenshot:

@DrRoach We price our FX from Bloomberg’s executable rates. There really was a significant spike at 22:00 UK time, as there is almost always.

Am I right in thinking you are showing the pre/post market in your ThinkOrSwim screen? If yes, then you should expect to see a difference in SMA as this is calculated over each candle, including when you’re out of hours. If you look at open market only, the two should reflect each other. Just a thought.
