Hi @IntInv, this is indeed a bug, and weâve already reproduced it internally. Canât give an ETA for a fix right now, should be sooner rather than later though.
Hi @Bibi, price alert sounds will make their way to the new web app soon.
thanks, that would be great indeed
@Wit Please add the dropdown menu for easy navigation of stocks, like it was in the legacy app.
At present if you buy a lot of different stocks it is very hard to move them around.
@Wit The sizing for pie creation is unusable
Please tell me how I can differentiate my stocks to allocate the funds???
You CANNOT TELL THE STOCKS FROM ONE ANOTHER!
There is literally NO WAY to read what stock is what, so you cant accurately allocate money to the right investment, which makes Pie Creation broken on Desktop!
EDIT:
Plus, You cant even see the whole pie at once when you are making it, in the first place. Let alone add money to it. How can you make a pie properly when none of the pie fits on the screen, and all the stocks have the same name???
The new platform is UNUSABLE for me.
Iâll be elsewhere until/unless itâs sorted out!
The only chart panel I can change to a different name is NVIDIA, bottom right. If I zoom the screen to bring the other down-arrows into view the text on a 24"1920 monitor is so tiny I CANNOT READ IT.
I have a watchlist on the left of the screen, and I have NO IDEA how to get one of those names into a panel even where the down arrow IS visible.
I posted a screen like this before, but the usable platform is discontinued .
Obviously I wonât be using a platform which doesnât work.
I also need single click position closing. The BOT is wrong and I donât see how to get it.
Also closing all positions together.
Hi @Puzzled_one, what youâve shown on your screenshot is a bug weâll look into fixing ASAP.
Single-click position closing is available through the chart (I see youâve already enabled this option) â we have no plans to make it available through the rest of the app.
use Ctrl + - for now, see if this lets you see the names.
Then press Ctrl + 0, to reset.
Hi @SCFC.
Thank you for the feedback. Weâre looking at ways to make instruments with long and similar names distinguishable from each other in this case. No ETA currently, other than âsoonâ.
Great to see updates/improvements coming thick and fast!
Please can there be an option to âHideâ pie investments from the âAdvancedâ desktop view list of existing assets.
I recall it was available in the legacy app.
Thank you
@Wit Well I have given up for now. I cannot make the pie, nor allocate funds the way it is currently.
If the old legacy app was available, I could quickly make this pie and then buy the stocks!
Pretty Please can we have the legacy app back for a temp basis, we didnât even get to say goodbye!
@Puzzled_one , while weâre working on a fix, a workaround is to go into Chart settings and disable the âTitleâ option, under âStatus lineâ:
There is too much wasted space in the advanced view.
I donât need a new chart every time I click on a security.
I donât need all those technical analysis tools.
I donât need top winners, top losers, most traded, etc⊠always on top.
Also donât need pies and social menus always on top.
I do want to see the book cost of my positions together with current market value. This is the only new feature that I wanted and itâs not there.
Also in the search can you let us filter instruments based on their trading currency? I donât want to see 4 versions of each etf; just the one in my currency
Hi @Puzzled_one, weâve just a deployed a hotfix for the issue youâve reported.
The instrument logo and chevron should no longer become âsquashedâ whenever the âTitleâ option is enabled in Chart settings, when there isnât enough space to accommodate the entire Title and Description of the instrument:
Please let me know if this helps.
Hi @SCFC, weâve just deployed a hotfix which should help with differentiating instruments with similar (and long) names during pie creation and invest/withdrawal:
Instrument names will now wrap on two lines if space is insufficient. This change will also go live for our mobile apps next week.
Weâll look into making these modals wider in the future - lots of things to consider here, so not really âhotfixâ material.
Hope this helps.
Great idea guys, well done!
Yes! Completely agree MrLov
There should be filters for instrument types, currencies, stocks, exchanges etc⊠The detailed search should be the âmainâ search landing page, not the fancy poster board of stocks.
Regarding the Top banner of Watch Lists.
I agree, that should have an option to be hidden.
Let the user decide to hide, or disable the bits they donât want to see, or use. Too much clutter does cause people anxiety, your brain doesnât know what to look at!
I think we are getting there with the new app, slowly but surely
T212, pls could you restore correct functionality of symbols displayed next to the current price in list of my holdings, as it was in old desk app? Arrow = opened market in normal trading hours, circle = closed market or event. no daily change.
Request concerns just EU/GB traded instruments, symbols with US/CA ones are displayed correctly.
Thanks lot.
Thanks, I didnât know that we must âupdateâ a web page to the actual version. I was thinking that every time I open the web page, it was loaded the current version.
Today version:
After a couple refresh** itâs now this version:
Status:
- Text can be selected in the notifications
- But text in bottom panel still can«t be selected
** I did it several times, because you mentioned that there is a new version and that I must do like that, maybe there are other customers that donât know this trick, there is a way to inform the T212 customers when there is a new version and that they must update/refresh?
Hi @StockHog100, try this here, should do what you are âlookingâ for:
and Voila!
Make sure to have a look around the new app, some of the old features are still available, just in different locations or DiFfErEnT ShApEs + SiZeS
