Just tried importing shares into my pies. Worked perfectly!

just gave the new feature a trial and works great

will enjoy being able to adjust my pie with the holdings outside of it for sake of dividend management.

Brilliant stuff @George! :raised_hands:

For if any iOS users want to get an early whirl of features

Congrats, nice new update! It was very requested indeed. Noticed also the Pie Sharing after I saw the iOS beta testing features access.

The platform is looking better and better! :+1:t2: Looking forward to future features development :star_struck:

Hey George,
When creating new pie and adding my existing stocks, I am asked to decide the future percentage of each share, this might cause rebalancing when I just want to add all my stocks to one pie, i dont think it should be the second step when just creating a pie.
when Adding the stocks I get to a pie over 100% and I need to start playing with it regardless of the actual position size related to my portfolio.
I find it really annoying and problematic, what do you think?
Thx

Rebalancing won’t be triggered unless you explicitly do it.

You can create a pie, import your existing investments, and then adjust the targets so they match the new actual values. This way nothing will be bought or sold and your pie will be balanced

how can I know the actual percentage weight in the pie? why not making it the default weight and you change it only if you have another target for it?
I added my stocks and end up with zeros…
also, why not add the option to add to pie from your investments and not only via the search? kinda tiring if you have a long list.

When you have positions, it will show the actual weight:

Here you can read more about target / actual weight Why are some of my Pie slices bigger than others? – Trading 212

I agree, we have plans to implement more options for adding instruments into pies.

But I do have already positions…why I need to start from 0 in the pie?

example, I have 5 AAPL, why its not being added to the pie?

Tap on ā€œMore actionsā€, you can import your current holdings overthere. See first post in this topic:

This is a great question to ask in a topic named ā€œPies - Import / Export Investmentsā€ and a testament to reading prowess.

Well when I try to import its not showing, and I still think the default should be the actual weight it has in the pie and not starting to adjust the % bar of each stock you have.

Very simple and easy to use. Thank you for such a fabulous feature. Took me less than 10 seconds to export my holdings.

Scroll all the way to the top in this topic. George explains it in his post how it works with screenshots.

And I say the ā€œMake Spaceā€ action is not something the user should do and not something I expect from a platform handling my pies.
The default should be the actual weight it gets in the already existing pie and you only change it if you want.

I dont seem to have this, i have just got access to the beta. I want to move my current ETF holdings into the pie. Also are we able to add stops to our pie positions? Just incase.

Now I need to go slice by slice and adjust it to the estimated % of each stock?
what about its not a whole percentage?
this is why I mean that the feature is tiring and non-accurate.
just use the actual weight of the stock in the pie as default…
