Question about company updates and voting

Happy new year.

I am fairly new and curious how voting and general company updates to investors works in trading 212.
Do we get forward whatever companies send to investors as stock holders, or invitations to vote online if there is any? How does this exactly work?

I did some searching for this, since no-one has replied yet. This actually confused me more.

Searching more I found there are third-party services a broker can use for automating these things. Ex. Mediant & ProxyVote.
