My top advice really for anyone who says they’ve got some breakthrough battery technology is please send us a sample cell, OK. Don’t send us a PowerPoint, OK, just send us one cell that works with all appropriate caveats, that would be great. That sorts out the nonsense and the claims that aren’t actually true.

I have to agree, he needed to be clearer and less unsure sounding. Maybe if he had practiced a few times in the mirror beforehand. But the information itself was all interesting, I like how they can take a process that has been unchanged for 20+ years and cut down the unnecessary parts to streamline, both cost-cutting and increasing efficiency.

I had to google who this someone is…
quite literally self made man. His bio in his own site says his biggest customer is nasa 
I did then google “sandy munro” nasa I still get a few million irrelevant EV pages, while nasa.gov is silent.
and apparently he is a tear down expert and all chinese and japanese companies are buying his reports except EU/US companies. (again source himself) Its weird all those Chinese companies are buying this guys reports (who is visiting every random EV youtube channel) and not have their own engineers to tear down a car… 
edit: reading this back it sounds a lot more condescending than I intended it to be. May be it’s because I got stuck at home baby sitting on a Friday evening apologies for the negativity, may be I should jump on the band-wagon as well, FWIW what this guys doing is genius.

So a reduction in cost and increase in distance for China. This would bring the cost of a basic model 3 to about £29000 for using exchange rate. Some £11000 cheaper than currently on sale in

Is it not related to the price limit to get government incentives?
If I’m honest I’m not entirely sure but maybe taxes are lower and guess no shipping costs as factory is already there. I’m also not sure if all model 3’s are the same in each market.
Just thought it was interesting given the claims made about a $25000 Tesla.
Everyone’s a Tesla fan untill a correction then they run for the hills😅 much cheaper ways to make coin lol
