As a whole Elon Musk is not over valued, remember this is the only way investors can get a piece of Musks future growth.
If he starts company X and incorporates all his companies into one we will have an equal share in all of them, then thereās your value.
Currently Tesla is holding all the keys in the eV world regardless of what Nio fanboys will tell you, Tesla has tech way ahead of everyone and they will all pay through the nose for it
Agreed, but I donāt think Elon will ever make company X. Think he wants to stay private as much as possible, but think he just needed the finance for Tesla

Yes I understand the reasoning and maybe it will be a super company that the world has never seen but they could also stretch themselves too thin. Companies like Google, or NVDIA are not going to just let Tesla consume their business.
Just please make sure everyone you have diversity in your portfolio, the fact that Tesla is in ā12ā spaces according to that article does not mean Tesla is like a mini ETF, it would be more prudent to choose 1 company from those 12 and make a āAnti teslaā hedge against your tesla holding. Tesla will probably win some, but will also lose some too. Be careful out there chaps.

Musk said he intended to use half of his fortune to āhelp problems on Earthā and āhalf to help establish a self-sustaining city on Mars to ensure continuation of life (of all species) in case Earth gets hit by a meteor like the dinosaurs or WW3 happens & we destroy ourselvesā.
If we want to sustainably and independently live on Mars we gotta start terraform this beauty asap. It takes hundreds if not thousands of years to make Mars habitable. As of now, mars canāt even keep an atmosphere
Colony is one thing, but (permanent) inhabitants on mars is a different story
Its good to do research and development in that area and I am all for it, better spend on space exploration than on wars
You donāt need an atmosphere to colonise mars, you just need to build on it.
Anyway I donāt think Musk believes we will be a one billion society living on mars in 20 years but he does believe it will be done from his legacy
