Respectfully I don’t think you’ve done enough research. Agree this entire industry is being aided by government with incentives. But just generalising and assuming that Tesla is profitable/driven by govt incentives is plain wrong. Read the annual/quarterly reports, study the financials. The gross margins are increasing every quarter. Toyota has the highest gross margins on car manufacturing, mark my words, in years to come Tesla will have the highest margins out of any car company, ever. What you have to understand is they are literally having to develop manufacturing methods from scratch. Not only is their sales growth on a S curve but also their innovation. That means reduction in cost, higher output of manufacturing and higher gross margins over time. I kind of like if people have this opinion, it will keep the price down for longer to buy more.
The numbers are unachievable, the price you’re paying is for a successful Tesla 10 years from now, they haven’t even achieved that yet but you’re paying it’s price…not wise IMO

Buy the dip. Average down. Two strategies which have worked since the dawn of stonks. I will be buying more.
Average something that’s overpriced by a decade all being well, how does that work. That’s a great decade as well not a standard one.
Tesla worth about $100
My post was general to the whole EV/Renewable industries. As I have some insight first hand how utilities and renewable go hand to hand, EV platform, currently feeding of Tax credits paid by ICE industry, plus tax incentives from Government when purchasing EV.
I personally don’t look at TSLA, nor will I look at it in future. I stay clear of pure hype/momo plays.
In 5 years Nikola will buy Tesla and kill the brand.

I personally took all my initial stake out last week at 480. Have left most of the profits in to see how it goes. What to do with that stake now is the question
