Difference in closing prices

Can someone from @Team212 explain why the closing price of a share on T212 is different to that of the actual closing price on the exchange its listed on?

For example GRG closed at 1518 today but is showing as 1525 on T212.

Is this the reason that there are often sharp increases or drops when the next session starts?

@Oxford_Bull We use the BUY (ASK) price by default, that’s what you see on the charts. Publicly available sources like google, yahoo, etc… usually rely on the last trade price, which /= BUY price.
