On the portfolio tab graphs, the date buttons are sorted 1D, 1W, 1M, 1Y, MAX.

On the home view graphs they buttons are sorted in reverse order: 5Y, 1Y, 3M, 1M, 5D, 1D

and have inconsistent values

Previously, editing limit orders only worked in the CFD section. Is T212 planning to implement this in the ISA and INVEST sections also?
Thanks for all the hard work guys, you literally have every customer asking complex questions, so I just wanted say thanks, must be a stressful time for the tech department.
Peace!

Thank you @SCFC and apologies. To clarify, my message:

Hi @Trader567, you don’t need to cancel and re-order - just find the corresponding order in the column on the right-hand side (Instrument view), and click it. This should open the ā€œEditā€ view.

We’ll also be adding a right-click context menu to table rows that will include an edit option soon.

was referring to CFD accounts only.

Indeed, we do not currently support editing Invest/ISA pending orders.

Anyone else experiencing this new change? I understand that the market duration / time remaining is going away (explanation forthcoming). but now the card seems to show different things at different places.

Price card does not show current state (high / low) under it as it used to.
On another occasion within the next 5 mins the same card shows the price with a text N/A last 3 months below it.

Just found the ā€œback to legacy appā€ link (My bad for whinging about it if it always were there)

Thanks for providing it.

My deepest condolences for the time, energy and resources wasted on this iteration. Happens to best of us.

When developing the next iteration, please do use/test a few other platforms finance or not. This current version cannot score 1 over 10 for desktop use.

Have a look at how people display ledgers/lists and other cellularized information.

Revisit the concept known as ā€œuseful white spacesā€ In your case you have way too much useless spaces everywhere. On my screen a single digit in my transaction history is bigger that 3cm.

@kali I hope you are aware the legacy platform is going away starting Monday 15th April as per T212’s earlier communication.

Does this new web app have a section for highlighting your upcoming dividend payments?

You can access dividends you have received in the History section under the Dividends tab. There is no place to highlight future dividends.

He’s summed it up well. We all appreciate the effort, but the app is literally not fit for purpose. Its unreadable. End of.

For a few days now I’ve been doing my homework to get used to the new application before the legacy one disappears, and that’s right, I’m getting there.

But the only thing missing is that the dialog box to edit an open position or an order does not appear when clicking on the rows below the chart. These rows are the only ones that can be sorted by price, quantity, etc. and in the right column where the editing dialog box appears when clicking on an open position or an order, the elements cannot be sorted. So it is uncomfortable and difficult to find and edit the parameters.

In the legacy application it didn’t even look at the right column, it did everything from the rows below or by double clicking directly on the positions in the chart.

I have reported this as well. So frustrating… I have noticed that I can close each position without confirmation by clicking the ā€˜X’ on the chart buy/sell entry.

How do you set it up. I have changed the quick buy/sell price and that works for instant trade, but how do I set a value that I can then use in trades where I want stop loss and take profit

Hello, I’d be grateful if someone could answer my question please as I do use gearing and I can’t find it on the new layout. @Wit

Generally, after getting used to the new layout it probably is enough for my limited purposes of buying and selling stocks in Invest & ISA, except for that point.

Yes but please could you add this to Invest/ISA as its one of the main things that people would like added.

Thank you.

Please T212 you’re killing me with this lol. :grimacing:

@Wit - And of course a TRAILING STOP LOSS !
Well it is not a greenfield feature, you have it already working for the other accounts, so why not for the ISA?

@Wit

Some things are ā€œgetting thereā€, Well done.
Many things are changing, and it feels like changes are being applied… In the meantime, I think you HAVE to extend the life of the legacy platform.
I’ll not be using it for day trading on CFD as is.

Just on Single click ordering:
The new buy/sell buttons are OK, but too small… I certainly can’t read the numbers on them , on a standard 24" 1920 wide screen at arm’s length away. The ā€œ1ā€ between the buttons, I hadn’t even noticed.
As someone above said, ā€œ1ā€ can be a very large amount on some instruments, stocks or indices.
The number appears to be set for ALL instruments - that’s wrong, it needs to be per instrument. and non volatile. IE once set, it needs to stay the same, forever until changes, regardless of which watchlist (or none) that the instrument was summoned from.
The changing/resetting of that default value has always been an error in T212, the padlock never worked properly in the legacy system (so the Bot was eventually changed to say the padlock didn’t do anything!)…

I suggest the number (of shares) should start at the minimum order amount for the instrument , until we change it, and it survives a log off/on.
Everyone I know who uses T212, suspects that the very large amounts (share numbers) in the orders box are so big in order to trap people into buying more than they intended, so they have to get out and lose.

The little ā€œ(+)ā€ on the crosshair
image

WOULD be great but the pending buy /sell still invokes the big , obstructing, order entry popup with inappropriately large numbers , which needs to be changed and a confirm, defeating the purpose of the ā€œ(+)ā€ effort to provide quick operation.

Closing an order constantly catches me out, because the buttons are so insignificant - it’s very easy to miss, so you faff about with your bank balance going to the depths of hell.

IT HAS GOT WORSE because there’s no longer a larger ā€œclose all open positionsā€ button. Can we have it back please, it could be an option in the panel options list? I used to use that routinely because it was easiest to hit.
image

There’s the little X and the end of the position bar, which is clear but too small (circled white) and the misty nearly hidden buttons in the positions pane, with my blue bar by them. Those are death traps.
Though the mouse cursor has changed now (good) the buttons are so indistinct, not having any clear edge, that they’re very easy to miss.
If you hit the invisible scroll bar they nearly touch, which only appears when you’re over it
image

then the instrument and its position actually vanish from the panel because they’ve scrolled off it - it’s has gone. Then you have to check which one it was, scroll to find it, and you’ve lost more money. That happened to me …

Please make the darned things a bit bigger and clearer, and not RIGHT AGAINST the invisible scroll bar??

Suggestion- how about using the instrument’s icon in the right side panel, as a ā€œPosition closeā€? (Circled yellow). If you had a red BORDER around the icon when the instrument had an open position, it would be very clear, and the icon is big.

Then you STILL get the
image

box. Pounds more drain away while you deal with that. That’s not ā€œsingle clickā€.

The app looks great but it doesn’t give me a scroll bar. Tried on both Chrome and Firefox on a Mac. Makes it unusuable I’m afraid.
