New Web App (Beta)

Hi Wit, thanks for responding.

No, I probably used the wrong terminology, it’s “Debt to Assets”, as in the screen print here.
Debt to Assets

Hi, not sure it’s exactly what you have asked for, but you can save a template and when you select a chart it’s a single click if they don’t automatically appear. it’s the icon next to the indicator button.

The Search UI will be getting improvements for Web/Tablets, to bring in missing features that were present in the legacy app. This has already been in development for the past week. Expect it to land on Monday.

The missing saved indicator template issue is known to T212. I think they are looking into it along with numerous other issues this community has identified and reported over the past two weeks

The indicator/drawing template save tools are here.
Those are two I have saved. They remain saved after browser and computer restart. And can apply to any new chart that’s opened.

Hi, in the old veiw charts on the average direcitonal index, you could see the DI+ and DI- together, I used this indicator quite a lot but now the ADX does not have the DI+ and DI- on it. Is there an equivilent to the old indicator I’m missing or will these options return? I used them a lot in my stratgedy.

The Releative strength index indicator no longer had the DI+ and DI- in the new veiw, will these be added back, or is there an equivilent? I used this indicator a lot.

Thanks. Good to know it is working for you.
Can you also share your browser and version number?
It has not worked for me; the evidence to T212 a week ago.

@Wit What about the several evidences I have provided you in your DM to me? My questions have been waiting to be answered by T212 for the past 5 days.

I am now wondering if T212 DM is a strategy to avoid issues getting raised in a public forum because I can see you posting likes to responses that are in favour of T212.

Kindly confirm T212’s take on my issues.

Chrome (123.0.6312.123) on Windows 11 Pro.
Chrome has updated at least 5-10 times since new UI and been working ok, settings being remembered.

Hi @IntInv. One can simply take a look at this thread and quickly come to the conclusion that we are not afraid of our clients’ feedback in public spaces, as long as it is civil and constructive. We resort to DMs in order to get debug information and avoid spamming everybody.

As far as your concerns, I apologise we haven’t gotten back to you yet - we will, soon.

Ah! I had mentioned to @Wit that some of the features seem to work on Chrome for me. So it seems Chrome is the default one for the new app, until issues get sorted for the other browsers.

I will try switching to Chrome today and see if things for me.

Hi @JamMan, with our new web app we’ve integrated TradingView - the world’s most powerful charting engine. These charts come with whatever indicators TradingView themselves support.

In theory, it is possible for us to add additional indicators on top of what TradingView offers, but it’s not something we’re willing to take up at the moment.

Hi everyone,

We’ve decided to take another couple of days to polish our Search UI updates. Therefore, we will not be releasing them today but on Thursday (18.04).

As I mentioned, we will not be discontinuing our legacy app until the Search UI updates land in the new app. Therefore, the discontinuation date of our legacy app has also been pushed to the 18th.

Good suggestions @Puzzled_one!

This is a missed feature and would good to have back in CFD’s.

I can confirm we’re already working on bringing the “Close multiple/all CFD positions” feature to our new app. It is scheduled to land later this week.

Hi @Wit

Thanks for the update

Hello T212, awaiting bigger font size for symbols of “arrows” (showing daily market moves next to current price for each position) which are too small as dots and therefore are pretty harming to my eyes now. I hope in adoption asap, by new release planned on 18 Apr.?

Old desk app - size of arrow is even larger than letter size:

New desk app - size of arrow is much smaller approx. 1/4 against letter size, almost unvisible:

(New desk app after update 17th Apr. - added for comparison):

…arrrows shall be higher (maybe also proportionally wider), at least twice.

Hello @Tomik. I am sorry to hear about the harm our app has caused your eyes. That is certainly not our intent. The size of the arrows is the same as the size of the market status indicators in the bottom-left corner of stock logos.

While the latter will certainly not be increased, there is room to grow for the former. We’ll discuss internally whether such a change makes sense and can be squeezed in before the 18th.

PIE DELETION

In the legacy app, Pies that are unused for a period of time are arbitrarily deleted. I have never understand the reasoning behind this, and it’s something I hope will not be in the new app.

Will T212 still be deleting Pies in the new app?
