New Web App (Beta)

I didn’t even know it existed until i tried to help @Rich110

Trying to work out what “exchange” actually means in terms of time zone, just have not had the chance to look more into it

I have been busy fighting with the new PIE features, havent had a chance to trade properly yet.

I’m digging the new app, just a lot of niggles and things to iron still though

Also, keep in mind T212 offers 24/5 overnight and pre-market trading now, and there is a setting to either display these prices, AND THE PRICE ACTION TRADES ON THE CHART or not.

These Are Application Wide Settings
Maybe this is what you mean?
Have a look under HERE:

HOW TO ACCESS UNINVESTED CASH FROM A PIE?

@Wit

I have cash stuck in a pie and I can’t delete it the pie because of this,
but I have no options or ability move the money anywhere?

Am I missing something>?
How do I get the remaining money i put into the pie?

**EDIT
SOLVED by @Wit

You use WITHDRAW,
the button was that LARGE, i didnt see it haha

Hi @SCFC, have you tried going into the pie and then clicking on Withdraw? Select the entire pie cash value and it will get withdrawn back to your account.

@Wit when the send sell order is open and ready to confirm the gain % does not update, this is surely a glitch as it always used to keep updating on the legacy app while having the confirm button open.

Also it seems that in the new web app gain % as a whole is not updated as much as it was when the legacy app was available.

Please fix this.

Thank you kindly.

Hi @Trader567, prices stop updating when there’s a window (layer) covering them. We intentionally fade out the background as the expectation is for the user to focus on the modal window, and not on the content below it.

A potential fix here would not be to update prices underneath the window, but to bring that information in the window itself . I’ll raise this internally.

Please do as its vital for the customer to see the % gain in real time even while on this window for full transparency.

Before the web app update, it was always viewable in real time even while on the confirmation window.

Thank you kindly.

@Wit thanks for pointing out the On-Chart-close is instant - we need Instructions to refer to!
Instant close1

We need something like the old “Close-All” button back though.

if the market tanks and you have several position open, you have to do this:

Instant close2

which feels like forever while you’re waiting for the screens to load up, and losing fast.

The little [ x } is very small. If you have a few monitors you can’t have them all very close. Could that rectangle on the “opening order bar” be larger please. I can’t read the numbers and hitting the [ x ] takes precision.

The dimmed- out background has also always caused a problem. Why hide it so much??? It does not help. In a sub-optimally lit room on a sunny day , nothing’s readable. Other platforms don’t go dimming things you need to be able to read like that…

As mentioned here previously, we’re already working on bringing this feature back to the new app.

Should land early next week.

If you’re referring to the “x” button in the charts that’s used to close a position - unfortunately we have zero control over it, as it’s part of the TradingView charts.

I’m not sure I understand what you’re referring to here. Have you tried changing the app’s theme to “Light”? Sounds like that may help. Just go to the Menu tab → Settings → Theme.

I still don’t understand how I’m supposed to use the watchlists, tabs, and split displays.

I want a split screen say 3x3, and to be able to add a name from my watchlist, on the left into the grid, and then pick one to see it full size, and then go back to the grid. Like we could before.
The only way I can find to get it is so clumsy it can’t be right. I have spent some time on it, given up, and am using a different platform.
Are there any INSTRUCTIONS on how it all works.?

I have found that the number of TABS across the screen is limited because some of them have very long names. If they were ticker names, we could have more of them and we’d have a more useful screen. I know they can be manually renamed - an unnecessary chore.

I like the Navy option too :+1: Black has too much contrast for me too. White screen is blinding, no way I could use that :joy:

@Wit Please can i get a reply to adding back the dropdown menu suggestion like you had on the Legacy website version please?

At present it is very hard to own lots of stocks, as moving them around while in this window is so time consuming compared to the dropdown menu before.

hard

Thank you kindly.

@Puzzled_one don’t you dare change the Theme settings to improve your chart’s visibility.

I did that twice and it has reset every single chart setting I had configured. At the moment the issue is a bug!

T212 has acknowledged that this is a bug, but I understand that an early time scale for it’s fix cannot be yet confirmed.

Arrows are shining by price of holdings traded in FRA/LON/AMS after opening hours…this is confusing by quick research in holdings list, slowing down work. PLS swich it off by closed markets. Thanks

Does anybody else have a problem with the new platform loading on pc in isa when you’ve got multiple chart tabs including some split view (multi chart) tabs? I don’t know which update caused it but it suddenly started taking ages and was unresponsive so it displays but buttons don’t work - I assume until the client side code has loaded and got all of the data from the server.

Its not my pc spec I have i9 processor and 96GB of ram

Hi @WakeMeUp, I’ll PM you, we’d like to investigate this.

This problem started last Friday 12th April. I noticed that since that day there are random bursts of background CPU activity and the screen transitions become so slow that they remind me of my 286 days! . It introduces a lag during the crucial buy and sell processes resulting losses.

I did not raise the issue as I was sure someone would mention machine configuration as being the reason.

Thanks for sharing your pc spec, it takes away any argument of machine configurations and resolutions as the reason usually put forth by a few here in support of the T212 app.
