Also, keep in mind T212 offers 24/5 overnight and pre-market trading now, and there is a setting to either display these prices, AND THE PRICE ACTION TRADES ON THE CHART or not.
These Are Application Wide Settings
Maybe this is what you mean?
Have a look under HERE:
Hi @SCFC, have you tried going into the pie and then clicking on Withdraw? Select the entire pie cash value and it will get withdrawn back to your account.
@Wit when the send sell order is open and ready to confirm the gain % does not update, this is surely a glitch as it always used to keep updating on the legacy app while having the confirm button open.
Also it seems that in the new web app gain % as a whole is not updated as much as it was when the legacy app was available.
Hi @Trader567, prices stop updating when thereâs a window (layer) covering them. We intentionally fade out the background as the expectation is for the user to focus on the modal window, and not on the content below it.
A potential fix here would not be to update prices underneath the window, but to bring that information in the window itself . Iâll raise this internally.
@Wit thanks for pointing out the On-Chart-close is instant - we need Instructions to refer to!
We need something like the old âClose-Allâ button back though.
if the market tanks and you have several position open, you have to do this:
which feels like forever while youâre waiting for the screens to load up, and losing fast.
The little [ x } is very small. If you have a few monitors you canât have them all very close. Could that rectangle on the âopening order barâ be larger please. I canât read the numbers and hitting the [ x ] takes precision.
The dimmed- out background has also always caused a problem. Why hide it so much??? It does not help. In a sub-optimally lit room on a sunny day , nothingâs readable. Other platforms donât go dimming things you need to be able to read like thatâŚ
If youâre referring to the âxâ button in the charts thatâs used to close a position - unfortunately we have zero control over it, as itâs part of the TradingView charts.
Iâm not sure I understand what youâre referring to here. Have you tried changing the appâs theme to âLightâ? Sounds like that may help. Just go to the Menu tab â Settings â Theme.
I still donât understand how Iâm supposed to use the watchlists, tabs, and split displays.
I want a split screen say 3x3, and to be able to add a name from my watchlist, on the left into the grid, and then pick one to see it full size, and then go back to the grid. Like we could before.
The only way I can find to get it is so clumsy it canât be right. I have spent some time on it, given up, and am using a different platform.
Are there any INSTRUCTIONS on how it all works.?
I have found that the number of TABS across the screen is limited because some of them have very long names. If they were ticker names, we could have more of them and weâd have a more useful screen. I know they can be manually renamed - an unnecessary chore.
@Wit Please can i get a reply to adding back the dropdown menu suggestion like you had on the Legacy website version please?
At present it is very hard to own lots of stocks, as moving them around while in this window is so time consuming compared to the dropdown menu before.
Arrows are shining by price of holdings traded in FRA/LON/AMS after opening hoursâŚthis is confusing by quick research in holdings list, slowing down work. PLS swich it off by closed markets. Thanks
Does anybody else have a problem with the new platform loading on pc in isa when youâve got multiple chart tabs including some split view (multi chart) tabs? I donât know which update caused it but it suddenly started taking ages and was unresponsive so it displays but buttons donât work - I assume until the client side code has loaded and got all of the data from the server.
Its not my pc spec I have i9 processor and 96GB of ram
This problem started last Friday 12th April. I noticed that since that day there are random bursts of background CPU activity and the screen transitions become so slow that they remind me of my 286 days! . It introduces a lag during the crucial buy and sell processes resulting losses.
I did not raise the issue as I was sure someone would mention machine configuration as being the reason.
Thanks for sharing your pc spec, it takes away any argument of machine configurations and resolutions as the reason usually put forth by a few here in support of the T212 app.
