New browser layout - investments & pies

Dont like the new update at all. My returns figures within pies are inaccurate - on Overview tab it seems accurate and on Holdings it gives figures for the stock everywhere in portfolio. How am i meant to monitor any investments? I have no way of knowing how any new investments have done?

The issues listed by other usres above, especially not being able to see how an individual stock is performing within the portfolio without digging into the pies and getting the calculator out, is really frustrating and frankly amateurish.

These are absolute basics which must be addressed immediately.

list of investments from the web interfaceā€¦

What has happened to the list, before it was investments and then pies, now itā€™s just all pies and I have to click into them, and then into each investment to check updates.

What is that about? Is there a workaround?

Please switch it back.

You can track the performance of all your investments in the ā€˜Allocationā€™ view, which shows the individual performance of each asset. More useful updates are coming in the next few weeks!

When you click on a stock in ā€˜Allocationā€™ view it doesnā€™t bring up the chart or any of the information for the holding. So then you have to go and find the holding to bring up that info. So, fairly pointless.

Instead Iā€™ve just exported every stock from their pies, rendering the whole point of pies useless to me.

What do you mean ā€˜more useful updatesā€™? The one we are discussing in this thread is absolutely rubbish.

With an upcoming update, there will be an option to open the instrument by clicking on an Allocation item.

After two days of being on the chat waiting for competent response ive basically been told there is nothing to do about the issues and that i have to accept that i wont be able to see the real progress of my investments and i will not be sure what figures represent what.

Its been fun but i think it looks like iā€™m going to switch to a platform that allows me to invest responsibly as well as the privelage of seeing how my hard-earned invested money is doing.

Is there any news on the restoration of being able to see stocks in pies on the investment view? Or has this feature been removed permanently. I donā€™t mean seeing them in the allocation view as thats not sortable either!!!

Hi @Old.Man, thanks for your feedback! Sorting on the allocations view is something weā€™re already implementing and will release in the coming weeks.

Can this also be added to the investment view as that is the prominant view presented and where this function was always available. Not just hidden in a sub menu i.e. allocations

Just have say All holdings option on the investments filters.

Oh no, this stupid update has now been made on the app too. I updated earlier and sure enough, the helpful investment tab has now gone.

Was it a slow day in the office when this idea was thought off lol.

But seriously, read the room and how many people want the old view back, it is ok to admit mistakes. Donā€™t be the sonos of the corporate world

Thatā€™s a real shame. Seeing ā€˜Investmentsā€™ and ā€˜Piesā€™ next to each other in the app just makes perfect sense.

Iā€™ve turned off auto-update in the Google Play Store, so hopefully I should be good for now.

For anyone else who wants to: in Play Store, find the app, there are 3 dots in the top right corner, click on it, then uncheck ā€˜enable auto-updateā€™.

I think it might be different on I-phones.

I wish there was an option to revert back. For now had to remove all stock from pies and turn off auto invest until its fixed properly.

Yes but itā€™s messed up the value of two of my pieā€™s. I purposely had shares of the same company in two different piesā€¦ now Iā€™ve lost value in one pie and gained in another - I didnā€™t want this! Itā€™s merged the value of the stock from both pies into one figure and spread it across both pies. That wasnā€™t the purpose of me doing that! I canā€™t see how that data can be retrieved now. Proper peeā€™d off!

Yay, I have this junk update on my mobile app now alsoā€¦

T212, please expedite the update to get rid of this rubbish ā€œupgradeā€.

ā€œA few weeksā€ is simply not good enough.

EDIT
Just removed everything out of my pie until T212 gets its act together.

WTF This is getting worse!!!

What happened to the normal layout. If we wanted some stupid Finviz rip-off someone would have asked for it.
Now we have display that is only useful for a 1-5 investments.

Please hire someone who liaises with your customers and has the ability to enforce Quality Control of your product.

Hi @Old.Man,

This widget highlights larger investments while giving less focus to smaller ones. You can view the full list of investments in the detailed Asset Allocation view by tapping on the ā€œā€¦ā€ segment or on the ā€œMore detailsā€ button.

More info about the Asset allocation widget update can be found here:

Hi, is there no options to see the actual number of shares you have in each company within my pie like i could see before the update, know i have to go into each individual company i own to see how many shares i have in each company, an thats become very time consuming!!

I just logged into the app this morning and found the tabs/button to view Pies and Investments seperately has gone! now I have to manually move the sliders to view one or the other or both which is so annoying and inconvenient. Who thought this was a good idea to remove? (It was still there yesterday).

Like so many others who used this feature, I would like this quick feature back please.

Thank you.

In the past at the top of each Pie, it used to show how many investments were in each pie this number has also been removed which also was useful.

Exported all of my positions out of my pie and deleted the pie. This idea was a real step backwards IMHO
