It looks like several others have already mentioned this, but on the new web app I donāt seem able to copy/paste a range of data from the āHistoryā section for CFD.
I record data in a spreadsheet for tax purposes and so (as there isnāt functionality to produce automated reports for CFD) I need to copy this from āHistoryā. This is something Iām currently able to do in the Legacy web app by highlighting a range - e.g. a weekās worth of data under āResultsā in āHistoryā - and just copying the selection.
Manually typing the data into my own spreadsheet isnāt feasible long-term due to the number of transactions to record.
After the most recent updates the charts arenāt showing the pre-market price. Iām not 100% sure but I thought that prior to the recent updated the charts in the beta were showing the pre-market price and the info panel on the right showed the previous close and current pre-market price (for US). Screenshot example is for NVDA. The previous close is shown on the right panel but isnāt identified/labelled as closing price. The chart doesnāt show the current price at all. Maybe itās my memory but I thought that the beta showed the current pre-market price on the chart and previously clearly showed both previous close and pre-market prices on the right panel.
Thank you for all the hard work on the web app and the subsequent improvements. Iām very happy with the switch to TradingView charts. Liking it a lot and usability has greatly improved from the first version.
Just a couple small improvement requests (I donāt believe they are repeat stuff mentioned from above)
Timezone (every time I change my timezone to line up with the US markets, it never saves and always adjusts back to my local timezone. In the legacy web app, if you changed the time zone, all your history (open/close times for trades) were reflected in the time zone you had set ā in addition to on the chart. This feature seems to be gone in the new web app and Iād greatly appreciate if I could re-add the timezone again. So timezone is reflected throughout the whole web app again (charts, history of trades) & that the timezone change can be saved).
If I put in a limit order, which shows up in the pending orders tab, Iām unable to modify that order if I want to adjust the stop loss or take profit amounts. I have to cancel the order and put in a new limit order with the changes instead.
Can anyone suggest what this message is about? I was trying to add a stock chart for my analysis but it keeps displaying this message. Is this related to number of open charts? Is there a limit to how many charts I can keep open at one time?
There needs to be an option to sort stocks by result (%)
Every time this new version is pushed on us this one simple, key feature is lacking. In the legacy stocks can be sorted in order for Quantity, Price, Market value, etc
Why canāt this be implemented in any new version?
The period selections (starred) are not being saved from login session to session. T212 support kindly take a look. If this feature works differently to what I though, kindly suggest.
Hello, the TradingView integration is brilliant. But currently there is very limited indicators available which is the whole reason why TradingView is so popular and successful, they allow insane amounts of indicators and they are written in pine script and submitted by the community too.
It doesnāt seem like Trading212 are allowing us to paste in our Pinescript, to me without this you would have been better off just sticking to the original T212 charts.
Please add the PineScript feature (or add in the tons of missing indicators) so we can utilise te true benefit of TradingView.
I have saved Drawing Templates but cannot retrieve and apply my saved drawing template on a fresh chart; I cannot see the Template catalogue. Where should I look for my saved templates, Object Tree is one obvious place but I cannot see it there. I can see the saved template in the settings of a new object if I start drawing, but selecting it will not APPLY the previously saved objects to my new chart.
I would like to apply a previously saved Drawing Template to a chart, how do I do that? What am I doing wrong?
Hi @IntInv, drawing templates are available when you select an already created drawing, in the drawing toolbar. You may save up to 50 templates per drawing type. E.g. 50 templates for Trend Line, 50 for Pitchfork, etc. After clicking on āTemplatesā, you may load one of your saved templates for this drawing type.
Hi @mhaynes, not sure if Iām missing something, but we do indeed allow sorting in the Advanced View tables. Simply click on the column header to activate sorting. Keep in mind that some columns do not support sorting, but the Result %, which you mentioned, does.
Also, make sure youāre in Advanced view by clicking on the Home tab and selecting āAdvanced viewā:
Hi @WakeMeUp, I canāt tell from your screenshot; What period have you selected for your chart? Extended prices are available only for chart periods up to and including ā4hā - this is true for all of our apps/charts at the moment.
Timezones - weāre investigating possible fixes for this at the moment
Clicking on a pending order in the Pending orders table currently only opens the chart and instrument details on the right-hand side. To modify the order, find that same order in the right-hand side column (Instrument details) and click on it again. We realise this is not ideal and will add a context menu (right-click on Web, long press on Tablets) which will include the option to modify.
Weāve spoken to TradingView, and their official statement is that as of this moment, there is no way for PineScript to be made available in Trading 212 (or any other product that integrates TradingView charts).
Just tried this, and seems to work on our end. The favourites persist after refreshing and restarting the browser. Please PM me if this is still an issue for you.
The time interval may have been daily (Iām not on the same PC at the moment so canāt see setup on that computer). However, trading view shows two horizontal lines one for previous close (if market is closed) and the other for the current price (in pre or after market). If you are going to be providing 24 hour trading I would have thought its important to see current price on the chart irrespective of time interval and if you want to show the previous close when the market is closed to have that as an additional line.
On the right panel I was sure that the previous close price had a label against it (ie āCloseā) and the daily rise/fall info - certainly tradingview does
@Wit that you for clarifying @777GE90 question about Pine Script. It would be enormously beneficial to have support for pine script but I assumed that it would be a tradingview limitation so that they still encourage people to pay for their premium subscriptions.
On the basis that charts will not support a script in the foreseeable future I would urge T212 to consider developing a programmable (script) stock screener. Several platforms have them (varying quality) and it would be a massive feature
@Wit i have a reoccurring bug whereby if you open the main chart for an selected instrument it shows another chart in portfolio instead, but still shows the info (price, buy button etc) of the selected instrument.
In the screen shot below, i clicked to show the main chart for Tesla, but it showed the chart for 3x leveraged tesla instead. Before that i clicked Palantir but got the chart for Sofi.
@Wit I can confirm that after resetting the browser this seems to be working. Out of curiosity, is this type of information stored in a session cookie?
Thanks for your help, and checking on the issue to provide a reason / resolution.
