New Web App (Beta)

@MaxZorin @Wit I thought it was just me seeing this anomaly. I have experienced this in a multi charting mode (I was looking at dual charts of the same stock over two timeframes).

For e.g. if I had looked at Realty Income (O) previously and then opened Tesla. I would see one chart for Tesla and the other for O. And this would continue for two or three further stocks.

This issue has happened several times over the long weekend but has not happened even once today.

I think this may be something to do with the browser refresh (had not occurred to me until I got the period selection resolution above where a browser reset seems to have resolved the issue).

I concur.
Since, I don’t use the mobile app and transact exclusively via the desktop
It’s really a shame

Hi @MaxZorin. That’s indeed a bug, but we haven’t been able to reproduce it ourselves. I’ve sent you a DM.

In the old CFD app you could set the number of shares and then the buy/sell buttons would do that quantity in a single click. That appears to have disappeared in the new app. (Both advanced view.)

Deliberate, bug or waiting to be implemented?

Oh, and the new app seems to crash the firefox tab it’s running in far more often than the old. Once today now. Twice last Thursday.

Coming this Thursday.

Oohh… that’s how you can modify an order (or pending order). Thanks for the tip! I almost always have that right-hand side column minimized.

Hi, @mev202. To answer your questions:

  • Regarding the ā€œShow stocks by tickerā€ option - we don’t have plans to re-implement it currently, but we’re looking at other ways to solve the problem of long truncated instrument names. Nothing concrete right now.
  • Regarding where you can see how many stocks you have - we updated our apps today to include the total count of investments for ISA/Invest accounts. You can find it at the bottom of the Investments lists in the Portfolio tab:

The above will also be available on mobile starting this Friday.

The allocation overview should also visible under the basket list. On many invests I must scroll through the whole list or select a special ticker to get to the overview… It’s a little laborious.

Ok thank you for the info, it would be good to put pressure on them to make this available :).

The new web app and mobile app search options don’t show the price or the price currency of stocks and ETFs/ETPs. This is specially annoying on ETFs/ETPs with the same ticker and ISIN.

Could you please add the price or at least the price currency (in the standard currency codes, ISO 4217, e.g. EUR, USD, GBP, GBX, CAD, CHF) in both search options of the new web app and mobile app?

@Wit - Hi. The below has occurred again today and I think I have narrowed the reason for this occurrence to number of objects / indicators on the chart.

I am not sure of the exact cause or aware of any limitations on the number of indicators we can have on a chart. Can you please check this and respond ?

Thanks!

On TradingView if I drop to a lower time frame, 5mins, I can see the Pre-Market bars on the chart.

Is this something that will be available on T212?

Hi @knightknight for periods below 4h, pre-market bars are already available, however currently there’s no visual indication implemented. This will come in a later update.

I think I meant Extended Trading Hours (ETH) which is like seeing Pre-Market.

For example: KULR 03/04/2024

TradingView: KULR (ETH)

T212: KULR (assume this is only Regular Trading Hours)

Would you consider altering the layout order a little bit? Or at least specify the order.

At the moment it goes graph, news, social then your investment stats (av price, num shares, return etc). This is really annoying. Your investment stats should be straight under the graph. News and social should be last in my opinion.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I agree that your current investment needs to go directly below the current price info and buy/sell buttons, etc. I have been thinking the same for a while. Also, sometimes I get an alert and quickly look at a company and want to immediately know whether I have any pending orders. If there are no pending orders there’s nothing that says ā€œNo Ordersā€. For many this may be fine but at the moment I am scrolling up and down double checking

Hello @Wit , any update about our multiple feedbacks on the general layout which is not very adapted for PCs ?

Will the one click closing position be brought back for CFD?

Its annoying to have to try to close positions and then have to confirm it.

Thanks

Hi @eddieh100, as mentioned above, one-click trading is coming tomorrow.
